From time to time, when the server seems particularly stable and there has been some good progress, we freeze the code and release a numbered version.

Fresco M1 Fresco-M1.tar.gz

This release introduces some major organizational changes. First of all, the project name change is reflected in a reworked (sub)package structure and naming scheme. As we now have substantially better support for issue tracking, we release according to milestones. See the complete release notes.

Berlin 0.2.2 Berlin-0.2.2.tar.bz2

Version 0.2.2 features lots of new and interesting things, such as support for a number of different consoles (GGI, SDL, DirectFB, GLUT), a GGIKit for animation and client side rendering, a UnidrawKit for graphical editors, and lots more.

0.2.1

(2000-09-22)
Berlin 0.2.1 Berlin-0.2.1.tar.gz

There has been quite a bit of work going on over the summer, which flows into this release. Even though there's nothing visibly new, the architecture changed quite dramatically: First of all, there is the port to the POA, which triggered a number of changes. We now have working memory management and the server is somewhat more fault tolerant. Also, berlin has a new abstract console layer which makes it independent of GGI and allows it to be ported to even more platforms. Finally, the first steps towards generic 3D support are done, some interfaces for 'Primitives' and a 'DrawingKit3D' are part of this release.
